The Challenge

400ft high City of London landmark building with 36 storeys requiring full lighting / energy survey with a view to replacement of all stairwell fittings.

The Solution

An Energy survey was conducted to demonstrate savings to be achieved by replacing existing fittings. Recommendation made to install 435 fittings offering a dimming down facility and presence detection that enabled areas of low usage to remain lit at a minimum level, until occupied. The product offered simple installation, and the ability to have the settings adjusted to the customer’s exact requirements before they left the factory.

The Results

• £74k saving in energy costs
• Saving of 197 tonnes in CO2
